Today sees me making a trip to my not particularly local office for some admin. Namely the return of my previous laptop. I had enquired about keeping it - afterall a spare is always useful - and initially I was led to believe that this wouldn't be a problem, but you should never really trust an answer that starts "Um" because as I've discovered, it's invariably wrong. So it's all boxed up and going back to where ever it is we send these things. All I know is I have an appointment to drop it off. Simple.
I'm also paying a visit to the badman with whom I have an arrangement. Hopefully he'll furnish me with a cup of coffee.
Aside from that I have an afternoon of conference calls - so all in all a rather odd day - but sure to be entertaining.
