A Walk in the country

In April, an offshoot of the WTC are going to walk the Cotswold way. That’s about 100 miles and takes about 5 or 6 days to complete, depending on the route you take.

It starts up in Chipping Camden and ends down in Bath – or vice-versa if your that way inclined.

So today is a training day. yesterday was a pretty lazy day, with the delivery of some crockery to a charity store being the peak of the exercise. So today needs to have movement.

The team (or at least some of us) are off to the pub, via a complicated wander through fields and over hills (and back again). We need to do some serious planning and get rooms booked for the actual walk, before they’re all gone. The Cotswold way is a popular thing. I understand the weather forecast is good today too. So while Mrs G has to work, I have to put some work in too, but I won’t be getting paid.

Might be some photos later. If so, I’ll share. On a day like today, my best advice to you, is get out there and make the most of it while you still can.

Until next time…
