A Quiet Sunday, Twittering and BAFTA’ing

Nice to have a quiet day.

Mrs G caught up with the washing – which she hates to do. I offer, but apparently I don’t do it the way she does. I still do it when she’s not about though – just to try and help.

Removed and replaced coat hooks in the hallway. Bit of a job given that one of them had to sit right on a steel joist, but thats what hammer drills were made for.

In my travels around the internet, I did happen to have a good giggle at a couple of fine tweets, which I must share…

Top stuff. I wonder if they’ll still be here in 50 years time?

Caught the current last episode of Vera (which while not a must watch, is usually a well rounded satisfying storyline) and then the main chunk of the BAFTA’s

No really huge surprises. 1917 did as expected (an amazing piece of work), and I was very glad to see Joaquin Phoenix win for ‘Joker’, and Renée Zellweger for ‘Judy’.

And with that it’s practically Monday!! How the hell did that happen?

Until next time.
G
